In 2011/12, I amused myself by writing a work of fiction on what I believe to be almost inevitable Second American Revolution.
Naturally the question arose in my mind concerning the violent incident that could lead to an insurrection - and being a history buff my mind turned the incidents in the First American Revolution, like the Boston Massacre and the never discovered identity of the person who fired the first shot at Lexington, Massachusetts on April 19, 1775.
Then came Monday's Patriot Day bombings in Boston by unidentified person(s) who may never become known, which has an ominous historical parallel in the still unknown identity of the person who fired the first shot at Lexington and started the Revolutionary War.
In my unfinished fictional novel, "CHECKMATE" I predicted the authors of the Second American Revolution would be very radicalized patriots who would chose Boston, Massachusetts as a "First Blood" incident, which would be called by the Media, "The Second Boston Massacre."
In my novel this incident leads to American Revolution II, but the killers escape justice...for a time.
